new york subway
so it’s kinda funny. i was just thinking about vignelli the other day and today got an email about triboro design making a new “new york subway” map. i’m not 100% sure how i feel about it. i am a huge fan of vignelli as well as his subway system. it’s easy to use because of its color coated system. triboro made it a one color system, flourescent red. i’m not 100% sure but i think this map is for the color blind. don’t quote me on this, but that’s what i took from what i read. it does say that the map is easier to follow, so that is sweet. it’s definitely worth a look. i’d love to obtain a copy of the print. there is a limited quantity of 300 available for $100. i’m still thinking about it. i got excited. maybe you will too!
